The Annapolis Shrine Club meets on the 2nd Thursday of the month (except July/Aug.) at the Annapolis Moose Lodge located at 1890 Crownsville Rd., Annapolis, Md., and starts with social hour at 6 p.m. and dinner 7 p.m. The cost is only $35 per person, and as is our custom, LADIES are invited to this meeting, so bring 'em along.

Items of Special Interest: A raffle is held at each meeting with the prize being one free dinner for the winner, which must be used at the next ASC meeting. No drawing was held in December.

Need transportation to a meeting? Call one of the club officers for assistance in obtaining same. We want you to enjoy the camaraderie and fellowship of the club.

If anyone is collecting soda/beer can tabs to support the transportation fund of our Shriners Hospitals for Children in Philadelphia. Bring them to the meetings and our Divan Rep will see that they get to Boumi for sending along to Philly. Enlist your friends to help with the collection. In the past several years, the hospital has raised over $60,000 for transportation by recycling these little items.

Nobles: If you are asked about Masonry, please feel free to answer questions HONESTLY. The Masonry internet sites are full of valuable information, in case you need some updating of your references. The Blue Lodge is our only source of new Shriners. Ergo, support you Blue Lodge, keep a petition or two handy for Boumi, and speak often about our Good Works as Shriners. We may not be named Ambassadors by Boumi Shriners, but each and every one of us are exactly that when we are in public places and show some form of Masonic/Shrinedom emblem.
